Catalyst held its traditional Eucharistic Reflection and thank-you supper on the Feast of the Holy Souls. About 60 attended, members, and friends old and new. Fr David Orr osb lead us in the leisurely, reflective Eucharist using the readings from the 31st Sunday of the year.
From the first reading Dt 6:2-6 people picked up on the twice repeated “listen” which resonated so well with the recently released document from the Synod and with our Catalyst emphasis on the spirituality of conversation.
The Gospel reading Mk 12:28-34 had us reflecting on the need to be mindful of both of the great commandments and their interaction.
