Catalyst for Renewal Inc is an association limited by guarantee. We are a voluntary organisation with a small remunerated administrative capacity. We are committed to renewal in church and society and promote conversation as the pathway to renewal. Our forums for conversation include Spirituality in the Pub, Spirituality on the Sofa, Reflection Mornings, Forums, The Call To Be program and Dinners. We also conduct fundraising activities to support our work and we distribute information about contemporary issues in church and society. In conducting all these activities, we may collect personal information about you. We may also collect information about your interactions with us. We collect this information in order to provide our services to you.
The privacy of individuals including our Members, Friends (those who have requested to be on our mailing lists) and those who attend our events is of utmost importance to Catalyst for Renewal. Due to the limited size of our organisation, we are not required by law to comply with the National Privacy Principles, however we endeavour to do so to the extent consistent with our capacity and resources.
When dealing with you we generally collect your name, your address, your email address and telephone numbers. In respect of our Members, we may also collect and update personal information such as date of birth, employment status and health status.
When collecting payments from you, we encourage you to use our third party payment gateway (presently TryBooking). We do not receive nor store credit card details that you may enter into the site of the gateway provider, although that provider may. If you make a payment to us by forwarding to us your credit card information, we will destroy that information after processing your payment.
We do not collect sensitive information such as relating to ethnic origin, philosophical beliefs, membership of a political or trade association, sexual preference or health conditions. We do not collect government identifiers, other than in the case of employees where it is necessary to comply with our legal reporting obligations.

We do not collect information about you when you interact with our website. We do not collect personal information through third parties, other than our payment gateway provider (TryBooking) and our email list management provider (Mailchimp).
We store personal information in a combination of computer storage facilities and paper based files and we take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss or unauthorised disclosure, access or modification. We do not take responsibility for the security of sensitive information provided through email, such as credit card numbers. We take reasonable steps to securely destroy or permanently de-identify personal information when we no longer need it.
