Michael is a criminologist at the University of New South Wales, where he specialises in the study of child sexual abuse, gender-based violence and complex trauma. He is the Chair of the Grace Tame Foundation, which is dedicated to the prevention of child sexual abuse, and immediate Past President of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, the global scientific organisation for the study and treatment of complex trauma and dissociation.
Prue is a lawyer who has spent the past 25 years working in the community- from helping to set up a legal clinic in Kings Cross for people experiencing homelessness, to Campbelltown as the Principal Lawyer at Macarthur Legal Centre and more recently as the former Principal Lawyer of knowmore Legal Service. Prue is currently the Policy Advocacy and Stakeholder Relations Manager at Survivors & Mates Support Network (SAMSN). In 2017 she was awarded the Justice Medal by the NSW Law and Justice Foundation.
