WHAT WE THINK!

Bishop Mark Edwards omi
He was ordained in 1986 and continued his studies at Monash University, obtaining a Doctorate in Philosophy. He worked as a teacher in Catholic secondary schools for 15 years. From 1998-2010 he helped to train the next generation of priests through Catholic Theological College and in the Oblate formation community in Melbourne.
In late 2014, he was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Melbourne. He is currently in the Western region of our diocese.

and Denis Minogue
Denis was a Priest for the Melbourne Church from 1970 to 2001. He established the first Parish Team Ministry in Airport West in 1980 and then lived in a priestly, religious, lay community in Corio/Norlane from 1989. Denis was Treasurer and then Chairman of the National Council of Priests of Australia from 1990 to 2001. From 2002 he has been managing Adult Education Centres and Men’s Sheds. Together with his wife, Anne, he celebrates weddings, naming ceremonies and funerals.

Club Italia is between the Western Ring Road and Sunshine Hospital.

Come along by yourself or with a group of friends and catch up with old friends or make new ones.  It will be an evening of live conversation, started by our speakers.

There will be an opportunity for you to share your story, insights or learnings in small groups or in plenary session if you so choose.

Support the club that supports Western SIP by dining there beforehand from 6.00 p.m. Dine on a table with other Western SIP participants.  Early arrival allows time to order and enjoy your meal before moving into the room we use which is off the Bistro area.
