Walking Together Workshop

Supporting one shared history of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australia

facilitated by JACQUI PARKER and NICOLE LAUPEPA from Fr Chris Reilly’s YOUTH off the Streets

Nicole comes from the lands of the Gomeroi people, and from the Murri Gubbi clan of the Kaputhin moiety of the Madhaa skin group. Currently a Senior Leader with Youth Off The Streets, Nicole’s expertise is in early intervention, child protection, out of home care, homelessness, domestic and family violence, alcohol and other drugs, as well as criminal justice.
Jacqui, the daughter of holocaust survivors has vast experience as an Educator with a deep awareness of culturally responsive practice.   Their life experiences and world view has powered them to collaborate on the Walking Together Project.

Parking at Our Lady of the Nativity Catholic Church, Lawson (enter by Somers Street)  – OR – Kitchener Street, Lawson (8 spaces).   To gain access to the car park please exit the Great Western Highway onto Somers Road immediately before the church.

For railway travelers to Lawson:

Go east on the Great Western Highway. Turn right at Orient St., left into Mary St. Walk to the end. (15 min. walk)
