SIP at Wollongong with Dr Annette Tzavaras

An insight to the complexity of issues in the decades of conflict in Afghanistan and the complicity of the West
  •  29 October 2019
     7:30PM - 9:00PM

Working with Afghan women who came to Australia on “women at risk visas, 204” provided Annette with insights into the complexities of their personal loss and traumas as well as the obstacles they face as Muslim refugees in Australia.
To recruit women into a research program she was forced to look at her own epistemology of family diversity to gain their trust.
