3 July 2019
7:30PM - 9:00PM
For the past few years at Paddington SIP on the first Wednesday in July we have been joining with our Indigenous sisters and brothers in celebrating NAIDOC week – and this year is no exception!
So, on Wednesday 3 July, we invite you to come, join in the conversation, focusing on the 2019 NAIDOC week theme: “Voice. Treaty. Truth. Let’s work together for a Shared Future.”
Come, share a drink and engage in some stimulating conversation at SIP
With MATTHEW SMITH and LOUISE CAMPBELL
Our leaders in the conversation will be Matthew Smith who is the Principal of Redfern Jarjum College and Louise Campbell, an Education Officer in Aboriginal Education for the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle Catholic Schools Office. Our MC for the evening will be John Allen who continues to play a significant role in Aboriginal affairs in Sydney – and who is a keen SIPper!
“We belong to each other. And we need each other. We will get through this. Together. And we’ll learn and grow and overcome. Together.
I believe the good things in this world outnumber the sad”. (L.R. Knost)
