Reflection Morning at Hunters Hill April 2021

The topic/theme for the morning will be:

“Living the Gospel in Australia today”. Realities, challenges and hopes in our church.

Our speaker will be Sister Jan Barnett rsj.

Jan Barnett is a Sister of St Joseph.

Jan Barnett is a Sister of St Joseph. Her background is in secondary and tertiary education, as teacher, principal, lecturer at ACU, and area administrator at the Catholic Education Office, Parramatta. From 1995 until 2000, Jan served as a member of her congregation’s leadership team.

Currently, Jan is the Justice Co-Ordinator for the Sisters of St Joseph. She also works as a facilitator and consultant with educational, church and interfaith communities. Jan serves with a number of social justice groups and is a member of the Congregational Coalition for Justice and the Sydney Alliance.

A time to be still.  No need to book. Current COVID 19 regulations will be in place. Tea and coffee will be served. We do ask for a donation. ALL MOST WELCOME.Come and See’.

There is a parking lot in front of the hall and more parking on the street. Enter via Mary St.

It is a 10 to 15 minute walk from Hunters Hill bus stops and shops. Proceed via Gladesville Road.

Before or after daytime events, you may wish to take extra time to enjoy the beautiful Marist grounds. Holy Name of Mary Church is usually open.
