11 September 2018
7:30PM - 8:55PM
Rev. Dr. Laurence McNamara
Laurie, a Vincentian Father for nearly 50 years is currently es-
tablishing a Centre for Human Ageing at the Catholic Theological College, East Melbourne within the University of Divinity. He has had wide experi¬ence in teaching, parish work, missions, lay ministry formation and as a Senior Lec¬turer in Moral Theology.
In place of seeing ageing, individually and socially, as a problem and a burden, he will argue that it is better to see our journey into ageing as a mystery to be lived and that we accept this final phase of our lives as a vocation in life as important as earlier commitments.
