Cathy Jenkins

Cathy has been Director of the Archbishop’s Office for Evangelisation (Melbourne) since October 2016. She holds degrees in arts, theology, education and leadership and has had many years of experience, both as a teacher and Deputy Principal, as well as being a curriculum adviser on religious education with Catholic Education Office, Melbourne, and as a publisher with a number of major publishing houses. She is a member of the Australian Catholic Council for Pastoral Leadership, the Council for Australian Catholic Women and is the Catholic Church representative on the Australian Hymn Book company.

On an Archdiocesan level Cathy is a member of the Catholic Engagement Strategy Advisory Committee, the Committee for the Ongoing Formation of Clergy and is the Archdiocesan Coordinator for the Plenary Council.
Cathy is an active member of St Anthony’s Parish Alphington where she is the Director of Music, coordinator of the RCIA program and a member of the Liturgy Committee.
