November 12 – Two Buddhist Monks:
Gen Kelsan Dawa: The resident teacher of Khedrubj Kadampa Buddhist Centre, and practising for 18 years, Gen Dawa is known for his kindness and humility. Gen Dawa explains how to integrate ancient Buddhist wisdom into busy, modern life.
Ross Markey: Raised as a Christian in the Church of England, in his 20’s Ross became more interested in Buddhism. Ross meditates regularly and attends weekly classes that study Buddhist literature. He is training to become a “Bodhisattva”, which means to have compassion for and to be a friend of all living beings.
