On the edge of the Botanic Gardens, across from the Sydney Opera House, is the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, a campus of the University of Sydney, and within is the Verbrugghen Hall, with a capacity of over 490 when fully utilized.

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music is located in the castle like building at the top of Bridge Street on Macquarie Street.

• Bus – any bus that goes to Circular Quay or travels along Macquarie or Pitt Streets
• Closest Parking Stations: (There is no parking onsite)

  Sunday: enter after 9am and exit before 5pm $18.00 Pay $28 upon arrival, have the parking ticket validated at the Conservatorium front counter. A $10 refund is given on departure.
• 2. Sir Stamford Hotel – 93 Macquarie Street (enter via Albert St)
